It would be great to have a way to pick emojis, because I like using them when writing issues/patches/comments. So far I've been googling and copy-pasting and I'm too lazy to set up a system shortcut for an emoji picker.

It could be similar to Zulip, where typing :emoji-name opens an emoji picker for auto-completion. Alternatively it could also just be a button under any textarea that pops up an emoji picker.
