So, in general, I think filtering and sorting is how I (and probably other people) use inboxes.
For example, when I’m clearing out my email, I’ll filter label:unread, category:promotions to see anything about subscriptions, then when I inevitably don’t care about them, I’ll select all and mark them as read. Then I’ll move onto label:unread, category:primary and start looking at important email, marking ones read that I’m done with.
For repositories, I’ll want to filter by merged to quickly scan over patches that got merged, marking them as read unless I want to specifically see what got merged.
Then I might filter by draft patches to mark them as read – they’re not ready for me to care about (unless the title sounds interesting :smile:)
Then I’ll filter by open and start reviewing those properly.
Then I’ll filter by issues and see if there’s anything I should reply to.
