Suggest running `rad patches cache` in case of mismatch between counters and actual patches
Open did:key:z6Mkpm6q...3h4s opened 11 months ago crate=radicle-cli type=feature

Here is a support request I submitted on Zulip: https://radicle.zulipchat.com/#narrow/channel/444463-desktop/topic/bug.3A.20radicle-desktop.20not.20showing.20patches/with/522322877

TL;DR: Patches menu showed 1, but no patches were listed

Interim solution would be to suggest to run (or even run automatically?) rad patches cache somewhere in the radicle desktop

Hey vpavlin, thanks for the issue, could you maybe create one in the radicle-desktop repo rad:z4D5UCArafTzTQpDZNQRuqswh3ury since the heartwood repo isn’t related to radicle-desktop

rudolfs commented 10 months ago

I’d say it’s already well captured in this issue.

Just as a follow up, since this is regarding radicle-desktop, it has been fixed there and we inform people about a count mismatch and allow them to run the cache from inside radicle-desktop. AFAIK this issue is being kept open to see how heartwood could fix this mismatch on a different level
